chouinardragon Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Hi guys, Recently, I noticed that the leather workers of Italian leather brands use the bronze clicking knife for cutting leather. Anyone has any ideas about this knife? Chris
Ferg Report post Posted March 15, 2012 I have a video of manufacturing prestigious women's purses. The man cutting the parts is cutting with a knife that is similar but different. I would like to have one. They go around their pattern, which appears to be heavy but flexible by the way, as though they are cutting warm butter. ferg Hi guys, Recently, I noticed that the leather workers of Italian leather brands use the bronze clicking knife for cutting leather. King's X Report post Posted March 15, 2012 I've seen one similar to this one, but it was bench made by a Japanese artist. I have never seen exactly one of these. Hummm.
Andrew Chee Report post Posted March 15, 2012 I am a genius! I actually found it! Haha... I used google translation to translate "clicker knife" to Italian and it came up with "Trincetto" and then I did an image search on that word and got this: Italian clicker knife Hope it's the right thing. Not sure how to order it though. Andrew

Andrew Chee Report post Posted March 16, 2012 Hello all. I am thinking of placing an order with them. There's some hardware and fittings that I'm interested in. They have a 50euro minimum so if anyone wants to buy a knife or something we can place an order together. I'll just charge you cost and shipping. Let me know. pepin1948 Report post Posted March 17, 2012 This bronze holder, houses a very thin blade made of an steel spring (less than 1 mm.) that cuts as a hell and is very flexible to go around the pattern
Andrew Chee Report post Posted March 23, 2012 FYI, in case anyone is interested. Here's some more pics of the knife in question. I just received it today. The blade is around the thickness of a clicking knife blade, maybe a little thinner but definitely more flexible. Funny thing is that it comes unsharpened. I guess they expect users to sharpen the blade themselves. Andrew
