Two Celtic Test Patterns

These were a couple of test runs on some new patterns I came up with.  I really like the horse.

Looks good, the celtic stuff isnt the easiest to do as I recently found out. Outstanding work.

That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister Ed.

Talk to Mister Ed.

People yakkity yak a streak and waste your time of day

But Mr. Ed will never speak unless he has something to say

A horse is a horse, of course, of course,

You never heard of a talking horse?

Well listen to this: "I'm Mister Ed."

Nice work, as for the verse, I remember trying to decide to watch Mr. Ed or My Mother the Car, usually flipped back and forth. Hehehe

As for Darryl! You have got to get a life Bro! HA! After I found out that they stuffed peanut butter in the palimino's mouth I switched over to Car 54 Where Are You! This is turning into retro tv night. The truth be said I was always partial to Phil Silvers in the Sgt. Bilko Show. I know...probably only Jordan and I might remember the show but it was funny.

By the way anyone who ever sees a pattern I am working on and wants a copy I will gladly try to scan it and email it. Patterns are sort of like sheet music. You could have ten pianists play the same song and have it come out differently. One thing I enjoy is creating new patterns...especially figue carving.  I have been working on creating some new florals bt it is not as easy as some think.

Great work. The horse is cool... but honestly, I have to say that I prefer the second pattern. There looks like there's a story to it. That's good stuff!

Looks good. Celtic will be the majority of my tooling, so now I have something to compare my quality with.

Yeah, I like that second pattern better. The horse is too pictorial--it's not abstract enough, like the original Celtic design work is.

(And for what it's worth, the second pattern isn't really Celtic--I would categorize it as more Norse than Celtic, based on a few stylistic cues. Not all knotwork is Celtic, after all.)
