AdrianS Report post Posted April 19, 2012 Hello, I'm curious as to where I can purchase Vergez Blanchard tools from a place which knows English? I've seen their French site, and a (ridiculously, stupidly expensive) Japanese site, but no luck on English. I'm searching for high quality stitching chisels and wheels with stitch lengths around 4.5mm. Vergez Blanchard seem to be the only brand which makes a range of different stitch lengths with different numbers of prongs. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. spooky Report post Posted November 28, 2012 And old topic, but just bumping this, as I would also be interested in finding out about their pricking irons. I've tried looking at their French website, but it is giving me a headache

gary Report post Posted November 28, 2012 I know it's not Vergez Blanchard but thier tools are usually good quality and it's in English. And their prices are fairly comparable according to my maths. http://www.josephdixon.co.uk/products/Half_inch_Pricking_Irons_2_Teeth.html http://www.josephdixon.co.uk/products/One_and_Half_Inch_Pricking_Irons.html http://www.josephdixon.co.uk/products/Pricking_Wheels_Large.html Gary
gordond Report post Posted November 28, 2012 this company was also on my wish list to follow up ..[skiving knives and others] try using Internet explorer/google/translate french/english.. their irons or "claw strikes" . spacing and blade count per tool are designated by the the last 4 digit number on the part number. eg/.[3_702_0410] GRIFFE A FRAPPER A DENTS N°04 10 DENTS equates to a size# 4 [6.75 mm between each tooth] and 10 dents or 10 teeth on this tool..price euro 135.99 note the minimum order is euro 100 and I haven't put my toe in water with this company as I have heard sometimes postage out of France is a bit erratic and Verge don't mention anything about international shipping.Plus they are out of a few tools I am after,so maybe later.
