Members steelhawk Posted April 28, 2012 Members Report Posted April 28, 2012 I have a Springfield Micro Compact blue gun that I am thinking of modifying to move the safety into the locked position. Not sure about the best ways to do this, especially with what to use to glue it back on, or maybe fasten it some other way. Any advice is appreciated. Quote

Members Dwight Posted April 28, 2012 Members Report Posted April 28, 2012 Buy a cheap extended safety and put it in place after grinding the old one off. Shooter McGavin has the answer I would use, . . . and the first place I would look is http://www.brownells.com/ The old one should come off with a little elbow grease and a 1 inch wide wood chisel, . . . drill the thing, . . . epoxy in place, . . . May God bless, Dwight Quote

Members steelhawk Posted April 28, 2012 Author Members Report Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) Thanks. That is what I'll do. I hadn't thought of buying a real gun part. Edited April 28, 2012 by steelhawk Quote
