I have an Adler 69-372 sewing machine for sale. Its in great condition. I bought it from Bogle-Greenwell Machine Company in Grand Prairie,Texas. It is a cylinder arm machine and will sew up to about 1/2" or so. I will upload pictures later. Thanks.

Is this the same basic machine as the CB 227?

Will it do a FULL 1/2?

I dont know about the CB 227.

It will definitely sew a 1/2" but not anything more than that or it will start skipping stitches.
