Storm Report post Posted July 13, 2008 Finished the sunvisor for my friends daughter this morning. I did something experimental and sewed it together with something new from TANDY. This is called "Waxed Braided Cord(Orange). I sewed using double needle as might normally do. This cord comes in a whole bunch of colors that you can coordinate with the color scheme of your project. The buckle is a 1 1/4" buckle and uses one rivet to hold it in place. Never could understand why they stopped making this kit. But that is the way it goes on occasion. Roger Report post Posted July 13, 2008 very cool! i used to make those when i was a kid. i thought about making them recentally and found they were no longer avaiable through tandy. i was gonna get one to use for a template and just have not taken the time to make one up myself. thanks for showing it off!!
