Ropinkountz Report post Posted June 11, 2012 Just bought some beaver tail to make either knife sheaths or holster for compact gun. now the question is how do you put a finish on them and do they sew up well. seems like they will be the right thing for traditional looking knifes. does anyone know how they holdup for a holster inlay? I had a wallet that I carried for a few years before the lining let go but the beaver tail is still in great shape. The only finish I've used is neat lac. Kevin.
