DoubleC Report post Posted July 10, 2012 You did a wonderful job on the horse. the only think I would suggest is using a different matting or beveling tool, which ever it was along the top of the mane, makes it look like it has made hair that's been chewed off by another horse and sticking up. I couldn't find enough pictures online of a horse in the right pose to give me something to go by, so I just had to make do and play it by ear. I'm glad my customer absolutely loved it. I have a customer who wants a roper style wallet and I went to to Tandy to ask them how to do the credit card slots because I've never done more than 3 pockets and have always just used my same 3/4 oz leather for the interior as well as the exterior. Anyways, both employees at Tandy told me it's such a pain because of the polyester backing you have to have and how you have to stitch all the different slot areas to prevent the cards from slipping down to the bottom, etc. They recommended I just buy the Roper Wallet interior package from them, but I don't like the look and feel of it so I want to do something that is raw leather so I can dye it to match the exterior. I only have access to my phone at the moment so I can't see your pictures too well, but it looks like whatever you did would work for what I need!
