I've read some comments here before that it just wasn't that great.

I've tried their edge kote and would only recommend that to complete a collection of fiebings products. It's really not good for anything that I can find.

So far for me the best method is to follow Bob Park's edge finishing guide and just use regular oil dye on the edges.

I use it, it works for me.

I top it off with trag and wax.

Hey TR, That's a real nice edge you got there!

Say, what's that cute little case hold?

Thanks Cheryl, that is a bit case for screw driver bits.

It has a spring clip in the back to clip on a pocket or belt.

Has anybody used this stuff? I see it comes in a neutral color. I am wondering what that is like. Would that be used to seal edges? If so, it sounds amazing. Anyone have experience with it??

I've tried it but wasn't impressed. On my stuff it cracked and flaked off when flexed... which since I was looking for a distressed and aged look.... I guess it was ok. I ended up scraping most of it off because of the cracking. I would not use it one something I wanted to look perfect and new. I can see where it would do a pretty good job on the edges of hard leather like boot soles and heals. I kept it for that reason alone since I have some black cowboy boots that could use a shine and touch up.

I would suggest testing it yourself before putting it on a project piece. :)
