I got one of BK's swivel knifes a couple of months ago, and I love it. He even made the barrel extra short to accomodate my small hands. I don't know what he does with the steel, but the blade rarely needs stropping.

I'll definitely order again (I'd like a filigree swivel knife and a few more stamps), but I'll have some American family bring it across the border to Canada next time. Shipping + duties were OUCH.

How wide is your beader?

I have the 1/8" beader blade and a #3 beveler blade that matches it! Together they work fantastic...makes beautiful double cuts easy!

Here is a pic of the blades. The first one (from the bottom up) is just the beader blade. The second one is the beader blade with the burnisher blade. The third one (top) is just the burnish blade. post-29124-0-10830800-1353622476_thumb.j

Mike, by burnisher, are you refering to another type of swivel knife blade or a push beader?

Mine is a swivel knife blade that I got from Sheridan Leather Outfitters. I think it was 25 bucks. They also have the BK beader blades for the same price Barry sells his for so you could get both and make sure they match. The push beveler was a little out of my price range...I think it was like 55.00 from BK.

I have one knife with the bead blade and another with the beveler blade in it so I don't have to change it every time......works for me!

The one I use is a #3 beveler blade from Kutter and the matching beader blade

Mike, I've been looking for that beveler, but I can't seem to find it on Sheridan Leather Outfitter's web site. Do you have a link for it?

I thought you meant the beveler blade was from Barry King. Now it makes sense. Thanks.
