Moderator Wizcrafts Posted October 3, 2012 Moderator Report Posted October 3, 2012 I am trying to find a set of three round, checkered bevelers by Craftool USA. The tool numbers are: B262, B263 and B264. I already have the set of smooth round bevelers. I am hoping someone has a spare heavy duty Neva Clog stapler and a few boxes of heavy staples to spare. I won the light duty model that uses type A1000 staples and they are somewhat weak and short, for securing belt keepers. The heavy Neva staples are about 1/16 inch thick and I think 5/16 inch long. The light duty A1000s are about 1/64" thick, like regular clipper staples. Members Gump Posted December 29, 2012 Members Report Posted December 29, 2012 Wiz; I recently got a pair of staple pliers that take staples 1/4" wide with a diameter of about .045" and over 1/2" long. I don't know if they are what you are looking for or not, but I posted a pic on the tools section recently, looking for identification. It is posted as shoemakers tools?. If they aren't what you are looking for, maybe you could give me more info on them. Thanks Gump
Members Grumpy1 Posted December 29, 2012 Members Report Posted December 29, 2012 Wiz It sounds like what you are trying to find Is: No. B-3/8 G staples. The box says they fit Neva-Clog models: B-100, DT-30 and B-65 pliers and the staples were manufactured in Germany. Sorry to say I just have the one pliers and a partial box of staples which I wouldn't part with for anything. Hope the correct nomenclature helps. The width of staple is just over 3/8" (.445) leg length 1/4". Good Luck! Grumpy1
Members Gump Posted December 30, 2012 Members Report Posted December 30, 2012 Wiz; I have the Craftool conversion charts and they don't list any tools period with those numbers. I just finished cataloging my tools [272] and there are none with those numbers. But I have 13 tools that are not on the list either, although 11 of them are craftool with a 4 number designation and are anodized steel. I have 2 , z609 and z610 also not listed. Most of my tools were purchased in the 70s, so the ones your looking for may be older yet. Best of luck Gump.
