Members Zigmars Posted October 8, 2012 Members Report Posted October 8, 2012 Hi. Please help! Maybe you could say what this is the color or how to get this color. Thank you! Quote
Members lightingale Posted October 8, 2012 Members Report Posted October 8, 2012 I could be wrong, but I've gotten similar effects from undiluted Fiebing's black and dark brown antique pastes. Looks like they resisted it, antiqued it, and finished it as normal. Quote
Members Tina Posted October 9, 2012 Members Report Posted October 9, 2012 To me it looks like the old Tandy antiquing in color "Tan" (?) Quote
Members Zigmars Posted October 9, 2012 Author Members Report Posted October 9, 2012 Thanks for the repley, need experiment when it will be possible. Quote
Members cjdevito Posted October 11, 2012 Members Report Posted October 11, 2012 I'm actually almost positive that's tandy's eco-flo smoke black hi-lite stain. It goes on darker than that, but if you use a finish that peels a lot of it off that's exactly what you get. Quote

Members HellfireJack Posted October 19, 2012 Members Report Posted October 19, 2012 That looks very much like Arbalet12's work. Almost every time he's responded to what finish was used questions he says dark brown antique. Quote
