Hello,

I have inherited this Pfaff Industrial machine.

As you can see in the images, the manual that came with the machine lists the Pfaff 491, 471 and 474.

The machine is a Pfaff, and runs on compression from an Efka Variostop motor.

The machine was running properly according to the last owner.

This machine comes with the table and manual.

For local pick up only. Knoxville, TN

Please email brigid.ko(at)gmail.com with any questions, if you would like more images, etc.

Thank you!

The machine pictured is not a Pfaff 491, there are too many things that are different. First of all, the bobbin is on the wrong side. The stitch length adjustment is not the same. You need to do a little more research, although it could be an early variant.

Thanks Art, for the heads up! This isn't my machine, so I just assumed that the manual that came with it was for it. Hmm...the manual lists a couple of other model numbers. Any thoughts on those?

And, is this machine used for shoemaking? DO you happen to know?

Thanks!

I am not sure which model it is. Is that a trimmer on the right side of the post? Pfaff made machines for any and everything. There is usually a tag on the riser that indicates model and options.
