Carved Leather Suspenders

Looking for a pattern or information on making a set of leather suspenders, a how to guide, any help would be fantastic.

If you go up to the search function and type in suspenders. You will get several to look at. My first project was a set of suspenders. Didn't come out to bad for a first project. It was partially carved and based off of a pattern found here.

Looks like homework time ,Amish people use suspenders in every day life so I might try on google . At the horse shows there is always a vendor selling them ,seems to me I have seen some right fine ones at the shows . You can cruise the magazine rack for "Western horseman " and look in the add section and see about the show circut . Good luck . Bill

I would suggest that you have some elastic about 6 inches or so in the back..That way when you bend or reach they will not fall of of your shoulder..I have a pair that I use on some heavy leather pants that I ride my motorcycle with in the winter..Good Luck..Google images is your friend.

Go to a western wear store. I was at cavenders yesterday and remembered this post and they had 5 or 6 of them. Not very nice but you could get a general idea from them.
