Just a thought

Recommended Posts

anyone ever covered their sheet metal with leather. I mean totally covered. I was thinking it would look kind of cool. Would it be too much? I don't ride in the rain, and I can be careful when I wash it, so I am not concerned about water damage. What might I use to actually stick the leather to the tanks and fenders? Anyway just an idea I had uou can tell me if it is a bad idea. I saw a bike that OCC did for someone that kind of had this theme, but most of their theme bikes don't get ridden much.

Yeah that is a beautiful bike. If you ever have a chance to talk to Paul Cox he is a friendly dude. He does all the leather for Indian Larry Legacy bikes and for Indian Larry before he passed away. He shared some cool info with me about leather(ing?) lol. I thought about doing the whole wrap thing but decide I like my paint and just wanted accents.

Ya that bike is cool, but a little more extravagent then I was thinking. I don't like the paint on my bike and was thinking a leather bike would be cool.

I think you're right. I just need to decide what color. I might see how the leather will for to the bike before I get to caught up in the finishing. I'll keep you guys up to speed.

been working on a set of meideval "horse armor" for my chop. Planing on doing lots of stringray inlays. The hard part is getting the patterns to fit properly. haven't had much time to work on it but i think it would look pretty cool.

The Berserker (bike) is pretty sick. Paul Cox also designed and built that girder, Which I really dig on its own.

Paul's bike is called Bezerker....Those pics that Beeze posted are from Paul's site and do NOT do that bike justice.....It is the most amazingly beautiful scoot you will ever see.....but you GOTTA see it in person.
