Havamal Report post Posted November 12, 2012 (edited) Ok… I realize that I will most likely get as many different answers as responses to this question, but I am curious. Sharpening oil… I realize that most any will do the job, but I figure some might be better than others. What type or brand do you use or recommend? Havamal Report post Posted November 12, 2012 Or for that matter, any procedures that you use that produce a better edge?
Chief31794 Report post Posted November 13, 2012 I've always used smiths honing oil, but as stated, probably any oil will do. I use this on Arkansas stones, on my diamond stones I use soapy water. Chief
