Members ClayEdge Posted December 3, 2012 Members Report Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) Hi friends, newer leather worker here. I've made about a dozen projects so far and haven't loved any rivet/snap setter combination yet. I was thinking about getting a Tandy setter but as I am starving student and just a hobbyist, I felt it was a bit of an extravagance. That said, do you think an old, vintage setter would do me any good. A quick search on ebay turned up a few such as this http://www.ebay.com/...=item3cccdde71e Do you folks think it would be worth the money and the time? Thanks. -Clayton Edited December 3, 2012 by ClayEdge Quote
Members catskin Posted December 10, 2012 Members Report Posted December 10, 2012 The short answer is NO I have one of each of the ones shown and they haven't worked for me yet. You are much better of looking for something you can see work. I do not believe these are what they claim they are. Quote
