Contributing Member SooperJake Posted December 27, 2012 Contributing Member Report Posted December 27, 2012 (edited) I thought we might all put our heads together and come up with a belt clip we'd all like to have available. What would you like to see easily obtained on the market? I'd like something like this, for example, only cheaper- http://www.gsiintern..._4236_8629.html Edited December 27, 2012 by SooperJake Quote
Members chiefjason Posted December 28, 2012 Members Report Posted December 28, 2012 I know the spring steel clips that are all the rage are tough on leather upholstery. That little flared out edge can dig in. I've finally got the right hardware to make my tuckable leather/kydex loops work and going to be test driving them soon. Quote
Members renegadelizard Posted December 28, 2012 Members Report Posted December 28, 2012 yeah, those are pretty expensive there...id like to see the same type of clip that minatuar uses, but at 1 or 1 1/2 wide, and about half as long....kind of like a mix between these two Quote
Contributing Member SooperJake Posted December 28, 2012 Author Contributing Member Report Posted December 28, 2012 How well do the Kydex clips hold up? Seems like they would break fairly easy. Quote

I know some guys don't warranty the kydex clips they send with the holsters. I'm using the kydex as a post so there is no flex to it. I think the breakage is from flexing the kydex over the belt repeatedly. If you do any kydex go with at least .08 and probably better to go .093. Quote
