Kevin King Posted January 18, 2008 Author Report Posted January 18, 2008 Kevin, again amazing, and the linings you use...so creative. Great job.The carving, was that done with that vector thingie you showed elswhere? Ken Thanks. The tooling is all done by hand. Vectorization, simply put, is converting an image to a line drawing. You sure are havin' fun at Joanne's! You could call this one Maverick's wallet. I know. They have so many diff. ones to choose from. I also get some stuff online. This stuff was from ebay. I didn't even know it existed, but when my customer told me he wanted a King of hearts wallet, "dogs playing poker" was my first thought, and i eventually found it. KK Quote
steveb Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 that is an extremely cool wallet, like the design but I am concerned that carving around the bend of a wallet, as I am of the maybe misguided notion that it will introduce a weak spot to an area that sees alot of bending and flexing... nice carving and i dig the inside...got a smile outta me....lol good yob mon steveb Quote
Members ericluther Posted January 18, 2008 Members Report Posted January 18, 2008 Once again you come with some great work Kevin! I dig the red stitching man. Quote

Kevin King Posted January 19, 2008 Author Report Posted January 19, 2008 Nice wallet, great tooling, I like the subject....I did a suicide king for my very first bike seatIt was for my son....Joe.It looks pretty pathetic now.DaveThanks Dave. The leather i used for this one was pretty thin, so I stayed a little shallower with the beveler than usual. Your first seat looks pretty good to me. That kinda remind me of a thread I want to start- "Your first project" I need to take a couple of shots of my first seat to get it started though.Very , very nice brotha. I love the suicide king design. Way coooollllThanks freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......K Quote
