Members mcn Posted February 5, 2013 Members Report Posted February 5, 2013 We are getting a new hospital for our town and this is a picture a local lady did about 37 years ago. It is in the lobby and will have to be moved to the new hospital. Thought I should show this off to people who can appreciate how much work went into this. Quote
Members benlilly1 Posted February 5, 2013 Members Report Posted February 5, 2013 Wow, that is a lot of work! I bet she had lots of patience! No pun intended. Quote
Members olds cool Posted February 5, 2013 Members Report Posted February 5, 2013 I can't begin to imagine how many hours are in that Quote
Members Cogs Posted February 5, 2013 Members Report Posted February 5, 2013 I certainly can appreciate the amount of work in that! Oh, the planning, layout, carving, measuring and re-measuring... I would have quit in anguish and frustration! Imagine the cost of that much leather today! She did great! (could have left out the airplane, though). Is she still alive? If so, how does she feel about it being relocated and that her legacy is continuing on? Hats off to her on such a challenging project and a job well done. Bill Quote
