Contributing Member rdb Posted August 21, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted August 21, 2008 Welcome to the Forum Tele52! Most people either draw their own, or surf the net for copyright free designs. You could probably find some simple ones in places like Tandy, etc. But if you do, those will be the ones that are copied a lot. Take a look through some of the posts here, like in the Motorcycle section for some fine examples. Do a search of the forum for "skull", and you'll find quite a few posts. There's a pretty good size contingent of skull lovers. I would suggest you didn't copy any of them without permissions from the Member, but you could see what's involved, and you could ask about it, that's for sure. Quote
Members BradB Posted August 21, 2008 Members Report Posted August 21, 2008 I should have added that most draw their own or find something to copy. Welcome to the Forum!!! Quote
Members wintermte Posted August 21, 2008 Members Report Posted August 21, 2008 I'm looking for a skull and crossed bones pattern for a project. Any thoughts? You could try here: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_search.php...amp;action=file You have to pay for the originals, but for our type of work, the picture on the web site is generally good enough. ArtS Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 The first place that I always try is google search using the images at the top instead of the web search. I did a search on skull and bones and it brought up a bunch. Here are a couple. ArtS Quote
Members cybertracy Posted August 24, 2008 Members Report Posted August 24, 2008 If you're like me, I only paid attention in tracing class--here's a couple of my favorite shareware images. Quote
Members Tele52 Posted August 30, 2008 Author Members Report Posted August 30, 2008 Thank you very much, yes, I'm more of a tracer than an artist. Thanks again for your help. Quote
