SmokeCigars Report post Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) What type of leather engraving do you do with lasers? Any examples? I'm pretty close to you guys. What kind of price are we looking at for one of those Speedy 100 units? Edited February 22, 2013 by SmokeCigars
ArminTLI Report post Posted February 26, 2013 Basically you can engrave any kind of natural and synthetic leather with our lasers. But you need to be careful with the thickness of the material. If the leather is too thick for the laser power of your machine, then the beam might char the leather causing it to smell. In this case it would depend on how you process the engraved pieces of leather. e.g. if you use it for clothing it usually needs to be washed anyway, which takes care of the smell. If you already know the type of leather you want to engrave, we can do a test with it in our lab and let you know about the results and optimal laser settings. I sent you a PN concerning the pricing information.
