Hello.

I want to buy some antique, but I do not know could it survive freezing during shipping from USA to Belarus? Does anybody have such experience? Which antique could be safety freeze and which not?

And one more question about acrylic dyes: could I use art acrylic paints to color leather or edges?

Sorry for my bad english.

Art acrylics work great on leather. I use Liquitex, but any good Acrylic will work. Airbrush or regular brush works fine. If you use heavy body acrylics you might want to thin them some to get more penetration and grip.

I din't know about freezing antique.

Thank you, Art

How can I thin acrilics dyes? Should I use water, alcohol or special thinner? Or it's depends on the type of acrilics dyes?

Acrylic is water based paint, not dye, it is opaque to different degrees depending on thickness. Water works, acrylic medium works better, marginally, since I airbrush a lot, I use acrylic airbrush medium (Liquitex).
