Members Imapeopleperson Posted March 18, 2013 Members Report Posted March 18, 2013 Been working on a couple of belts for my Dad and I this weekend, He picked the skins up at a rattlesnake festival down in Florida about a month or two ago. I have added a couple of pictures of the progress made this weekend, I am doing a double stitch on the one in the picture, but does anyone have another way or another option then the route i am taking on keeping the skin in place. Thoughts would be appreciated. Quote

Members Imapeopleperson Posted March 22, 2013 Author Members Report Posted March 22, 2013 Finished a rattlesnake belt up to give away for a door prize to a Cancer Foundation golf outing. I hope some one will like it there, it is a little different from your average flash light.lol Quote
Members David8386 Posted March 22, 2013 Members Report Posted March 22, 2013 How did the edges finish out with burnishing? Just curious, I am thinking about doing one but was going to do an inlay so I did not have to try to finish the skin edge. Yours came out great by the way. David Quote
Members Imapeopleperson Posted April 2, 2013 Author Members Report Posted April 2, 2013 The edges worked out well, i just made sure they was plenty of contact cement on the edges. and thanks for the comment. Quote
