Members Geckoguitarstraps Posted April 14, 2013 Author Members Report Posted April 14, 2013 Good to hear from some "Homies". Anyone know where to get some leather supplies locally? I only know of the local Tandy store. Quote
Frank Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 If you're looking for dyes, finishes, fasteners, and sewing supplies, you can go to Sew What Supplies in West Allis on Hwy 100 near Sams Club Quote

The straps you are doing are wonderful! Are you specializing in guitar straps only? Guitar straps are definately my main focus. The gal at the local Tandy store keeps telling me I need to branch out. I still have alot to learn. Do they have a showroom? Or are they only online? Quote
Frank Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 They do have a small show room. Give them a call in advance and set up an appt. or see if they have time for you to come in. They are usually very busy putting together and sending out orders (there are only 2 of them working). I call in my orders in advance since I know what they have and then pick them up. Frank Quote
Members chancey77 Posted April 15, 2013 Members Report Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) Hey NICE STRAPS!!!!!!!! If I can add one wonderful addition to them...add a small hole at the top of the slots.Just use the smallest or 2nd smallest hole setting on your hole punch. It is an anti tear hole and also gives a little extra give to get the strap over the guitar strap button. This helps tremendously in the long run and life of the strap. KEEP POUNDING!!!! LOOKING GOOD!!!! Edited April 15, 2013 by chancey77 Quote
