Have a friend selling a Singer 6-9. I went internetting last nite and found out very little about this model. All i could find is it is a book binding machine with 1/4 to 1 inch stitch spacing.

If anyone has any more info i'd be greatful. Manuels, Prices, Part availibility.

Thanks,

Jared

Hi Jared. I think the machine is a Singer 69 class which is a bar tack machine. It is used in the garment industry and in some drapery shops. Thanks, Steve

Parts haven't been available for this machine in 30yrs,it's a big old heavy machine like a 7 class Singer.you'll even have a hard time finding needles.

Here is the Elizabethport, NJ catalog pages for the 6- class. Includes almost all but the 6-9. Only a few parts that work on the 7-31/33 machine will work here. Singer6Class.pdf
