Members RunninRLeather Posted April 23, 2013 Members Report Posted April 23, 2013 Have a friend selling a Singer 6-9. I went internetting last nite and found out very little about this model. All i could find is it is a book binding machine with 1/4 to 1 inch stitch spacing. If anyone has any more info i'd be greatful. Manuels, Prices, Part availibility. Thanks, Jared Quote
Cobra Steve Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 Hi Jared. I think the machine is a Singer 69 class which is a bar tack machine. It is used in the garment industry and in some drapery shops. Thanks, Steve Quote
CowboyBob Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 (edited) Parts haven't been available for this machine in 30yrs,it's a big old heavy machine like a 7 class Singer.you'll even have a hard time finding needles. Edited April 25, 2013 by CowboyBob Quote
Members Gregg From Keystone Sewing Posted April 25, 2013 Members Report Posted April 25, 2013 Here is the Elizabethport, NJ catalog pages for the 6- class. Includes almost all but the 6-9. Only a few parts that work on the 7-31/33 machine will work here. Singer6Class.pdf Quote
