not sure what it is made of............but if it is eco flo it is probably water based.........JMHO

Tandy says that it is a blend of natural and synthetic wax emulsions, with beeswax added. It is creamy in consistency.

Feels and smell different, result is different. Likely blend of waxes, not oils.

It is in cream form, not as greasy as neatsfoot or mink oil, but it did darken the leather a bit just like neats/mink.

Like the others have said, it's a waxy cream. Does darken leather a little but in my experience not all that much. One thing about it is that it's extremely good at pulling off tandy's water based stains, so I wouldn't recommend using the two together unless you really want to lighten up the stain.
