BlackRivet Report post Posted May 9, 2013 Hey folks :D I've recently finished this triple-pouch-belt-pouch-thing. I'm happy with the results, mostly. The leather used was the very last of a sheet, the shoulder, so you'll see some imperfections, and the dye took very differently all over. But whatever, it stores things properly. Criticism is quite welcome!
Jazznow Report post Posted May 9, 2013 Hey, It looks good to me. As long as you didn't expect a super clean product it's fine to use imperfect leather. Often you get that used and rugged look, which I like. Lether has got. Character and I like to pronounce it sometimes for example by positioning my cutting patterns in a way that a prominent scar is on the flap and not hidden at the back. Your leather looks very dry on the pictures. Maybe add a coat of neatfood or Leather conditioner. Bye Jonathan
BlackRivet Report post Posted May 9, 2013 I have never used a product for conditioning, I'll pick some up and try that out. Thank you!
