My first sheath. I'm somewhat happy with the way this turned out. This being my first, I learned a lot and realized I already knew a little already. What I came to realize is basic leather working still applies, cutting, edging, dyeing, burnishing, etc. What I learned was my basket stamping needs some work (been about 6 months) and stitching these things up with a machine is just like a belt, leave a little over hang on the bottom and then trim the excess. In addition to that, I'll cut my next welt out as a single piece, vise two like Ka-Bar does. Oh, and of course I learned a little more about setting up the machine to sew this thickness.

Thank guys! I'm ready to start on the next one. Think I'm gonna make up a few for the standard Ka-Bar and see if they'll sell. If not at least I can work on my technique.
