Members Garange Posted July 14, 2013 Members Report Posted July 14, 2013 First time I've worked with Elephant or Alligator. Believe the holster came out really nice. Just wanted to share. Quote

Moderator immiketoo Posted July 17, 2013 Moderator Report Posted July 17, 2013 That insert looks more like armadillo than alligator. Nice rig though. Quote

The armadillos where I live don't have that pattern on them. No it's 100% Florida Gator trim. Still glad you like it! That's really nice. I like it. Thank you! Quote
Members prc77ro Posted July 18, 2013 Members Report Posted July 18, 2013 Looks terrific, is it completly Elephant or just the front panel? Any issues molding it? Quote

Members Garange Posted July 19, 2013 Author Members Report Posted July 19, 2013 The back is Hermann Oak 8/9 oz cowhide and the elephant is glued and sewn to another piece of cowhide in the front. Very hard to mold. Quote
Members conceptdiba Posted July 21, 2013 Members Report Posted July 21, 2013 Very nice work. I really like how the scales on the alligator inlay become smaller as the inlay tapers. Super cool. Quote

Members Ken Cook Posted July 6, 2014 Members Report Posted July 6, 2014 (edited) What Conceptdiba said-->I missed that detail but looking back, I have to agree. It's the little things that you don't notice that make something look right. Apparently I don't know how to use the quote tool. Edited July 6, 2014 by Ken Cook Quote
