carr52 Report post Posted September 12, 2008 (edited) I have the basic ones like butterflys. The kind you put a stick through. I was just wondering if anyone had something different. Tom Edited September 12, 2008 by carr52

Jordan Report post Posted September 13, 2008 I made a few last year oval and egg shaped and carved them into Peace signs. Unfortunately I lost the photos in a crash a few months back. Baby Boomer's loved them, brought back memories of being ten foot tall, bullet proof and out to change the world.

However, I have a question: how are the barrettes held on to the vertical strips? (normally, one uses sticks, but I see no sticks- it looks like snaps or rivets or spots on the ends instead of holes for the sticks)
Drac Report post Posted September 13, 2008 I used photoshop to make a heart shape template that's 3 1/2 inches tall by 4 inches wide and an oval template that's 4 inches wide by 2 inches tall. also did a cutesy looking skull template by hand.

Stick barrettes only stay in my hair if I'm putting it up. The French clips (which can be glued as well as riveted) stay in no matter what.
