My First Project...simple Leather Belt

Me too - the holes get elongated through use anyway, so this looks cool.

Nice! How will you finish? I would suggest a light coat of neatsfoot oil and let time and wear do the rest.

I'd put a keeper on. And my favorite belt is a double thickness one with neatsfoot oil. As it has aged it has really attained a great patina. I think the holes really look cool. Those groomsmen will really appreciate.

looks good. to me the belts are screaming for a stamping of some sort.....

Thanks for all the feedback I was gonna leave it natural and let it age on its own but I might try to the neatsfoot oil now.
