He picked it up this afternoon and was one happy man. And that of course made me happy. He is attaching the arms himself because he's not sure how he wants to do them yet. Cheryl

LOL yes he got out ok, but that's why I used 10 oz leather doubled and sewn.

I hope there was a second armrest added to the other side, or was that what those straps are for in the first image?

At first glance, they looked like the beginnings of a 5 point harness for a seatbelt system. I thought that might have been a bit extreme for a recliner. :lol:

the new straps are in the picture, LOL. He just wasn't sure yet how he wanted them attached!

Nice, Good job! I have a guy that wants to redo a rocker that has upholstery leather on it. Attached with tacks. Old and stained. I may give a try.
