Members SMSRods Posted September 7, 2013 Members Report Posted September 7, 2013 Hello, I need some help fiding some linen thread. I am working on some reproduction civil war items and the 1860 Ordnance manual calls for White linen No. 3 Shoe thread. I'm having a hard time figuring out what this is in today's thread. I tried looking for Barbours No. 3 right hand twist, but can't find it. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Quote
electrathon Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Oregon Leather in Portland has it. Quote
Members Fowlingpiece Posted September 7, 2013 Members Report Posted September 7, 2013 Why not go with left hand twist from Campbel Bosworth? You are hand stitching yes? Quote
Members SMSRods Posted September 7, 2013 Author Members Report Posted September 7, 2013 Yes. I am hand sewing. Wasn't sure if the twist mattered. Quote
