Members zfcjr67 Posted October 2, 2013 Members Report Posted October 2, 2013 I like the shoulder strap design, that is a nice idea. The butterfly design is great, too. Quote
Members silverwingit Posted October 2, 2013 Members Report Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) JimBob, very nice work! I dig those rolled edges. I can't figure out how you make them. Can you share a few details, such as how you make the two leathers come together so seamlessly and how you finish the edge on the inside? Thanks, Michelle Edited October 2, 2013 by silverwingit Quote
Members Jimbob Posted October 4, 2013 Author Members Report Posted October 4, 2013 There is a great tutorial on rolled edges in how to...kings wallets does it!! Thats how I learned !! Actually pretty easy when u get to understand it... Main thing is use playable leather and thinner than the main leather to be edged. The sides has been put together with a weld...look up auto upholstery...common thing there...i did not use a weld rope..just folded a 3 inch strap....then sew it in between the two side panels. Send me a PM if ya need more info.... Quote
