Finished yesterday, made a clutch purse a few month ago with the same butterfly motives...now on a oil tan 5-6 oz leather backpack..... with mono shoulder strap!!

I like the shoulder strap design, that is a nice idea.

JimBob, very nice work!

I dig those rolled edges. I can't figure out how you make them. Can you share a few details, such as how you make the two leathers come together so seamlessly and how you finish the edge on the inside?

There is a great tutorial on rolled edges in how to...kings wallets does it!!

Thats how I learned !! Actually pretty easy when u get to understand it...

Main thing is use playable leather and thinner than the main leather to be edged. The sides has been put together with a weld...look up auto upholstery...common thing there...i did not use a weld rope..just folded a 3 inch strap....then sew it in between the two side panels.
