Colt W Knight Report post Posted October 5, 2013 I started making personalized straps for the guitars I build for customers. Adds a nice touch to a custom guitar.

chancey77 Report post Posted October 6, 2013 Looks cool. So are you just getting into straps? Are you a guitar player? I have a comment and some positive advise for ya if you are going to make a lot more. The bottom of the front of the strap.... Always looks better rounded. It looks like you have a good start on these things and I look forward to seeing more! I LOVE ME SOME GUIT FIDDLES! Thanks for sharing the pics of the guitars as well! That silver tele looks pretty sweet! Also....sorry:9 just trying to help:) At the top of your slit punch a #3 hole for an anti rip-age hole. this will help make the strap have a LONG LIFE! Colt W Knight Report post Posted October 6, 2013 (edited) Looks cool. So are you just getting into straps? I have only made a half a dozen or so, but I have been building guitars for a while. When my tooling is up to par, I will be making a Wayloncaster. Are you a guitar player? Yes I have a comment and some positive advise for ya if you are going to make a lot more. The bottom of the front of the strap.... Always looks better rounded. I leave mine square at the end because that gives you a tab to hold onto to quickly and easily place the strap on the button It looks like you have a good start on these things and I look forward to seeing more! I LOVE ME SOME GUIT FIDDLES! Thanks for sharing the pics of the guitars as well! That silver tele looks pretty sweet! Thanks, I have enjoyed seing your leather work on the forum. I have built around 40 electric guitars from scratch. Also....sorry:9 just trying to help:) At the top of your slit punch a #3 hole for an anti rip-age hole. this will help make the strap have a LONG LIFE! Ill try the anti rippage hole.
