Members craftsman827 Posted October 8, 2013 Members Report Posted October 8, 2013 Springfield leather Co. They carry Chaylor-Fenneli interiors. They advertize on this site, top banners. Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted October 9, 2013 Contributing Member Report Posted October 9, 2013 Those are okay in a pinch, I've used a few of them. Still, they aren't up to all the rage about them, or maybe I heard so much hype I was expecting too much??? Lot of 'to do" for some sheepskin wrapped around some cardboard... Quote
Members jus10 Posted November 17, 2013 Members Report Posted November 17, 2013 What's the quality like ? I had someone really wanting me to make them a "biker " wallet for a boyfriend of hers and have never tried one plus after getting the thinner leather and lining i would spend more doing it my self so I could charge less with one of these and I would want it to be really nice Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted November 17, 2013 Contributing Member Report Posted November 17, 2013 Never tried the biker wallet version, as biker wallets might tend to attract (EWW) bikers. Some of the other interiors - like you said - can be time savers. And, it does keep a fella from havin to buy a whole skin of lining leather and all that's associated. Quote
Members jus10 Posted November 17, 2013 Members Report Posted November 17, 2013 Lol a lot of older men use the tall wallets in my part of TN and a lot of people these days who ride motorcycles are rich so it seems like a good thing to make I just think the store brand at springfeild look like they may be better I noticed a few of the interiors didnt have much on room around the edge to sew Quote
Members TexasGandalf Posted November 29, 2013 Members Report Posted November 29, 2013 There was a blog on here a while back that showed a pattern and step by step Photos on how to make the inside of a biker wallet as well as the outside and lining.. Didn't save it and now I can't find it. I think it was by a leather worker that goes by KK? Any help out there? Quote
