Make sure you get one on there so they don't tear out over time. Quote
Members joquarter Posted October 17, 2013 Author Members Report Posted October 17, 2013 Yep , there is a hole on the end of the peg slot. Took both guitars on the picture , to look how big and where the holes supposed to be. Went to a guitar shop to look at there straps , lol. Shadowryder , I have a basic swivel knife from Tandy , use a 1/4" hollow blade , keep it sharp and practise a lot . Quote
Members Cyberthrasher Posted October 17, 2013 Members Report Posted October 17, 2013 Yep , there is a hole on the end of the peg slot. Cool. I just wanted to make sure since it's such a common mistake and has the potential to be disastrous to both the guitar and the strap. Quote
Members shadowryder Posted October 17, 2013 Members Report Posted October 17, 2013 Yeah guess I,m just gonna have to keep whittling away till i get something worth looking at ! Quote
Members Cyberthrasher Posted November 13, 2013 Members Report Posted November 13, 2013 Yeah guess I,m just gonna have to keep whittling away till i get something worth looking at ! Yeah, I wish there was more to it. But, it's really just deliberate practice of the lines and learning how to control the tools. Think up every possible scenario and practice those lines. Little tiny curves, straight lines, lines of beauty - then bevel them, model them, etc..... Quote
