Hello all. This is a bag I just finished. It's based on a postman's bag. I made it out of W&C bridle leather this time. I did this one in two halves and then stitched the two halves together instead of turning the bag. I don't think I could've turned this leather without seriously bending and wrinkling it. I also used a wood handle as well which I think is kinda cool.

Andrew, that is a terrific bag! Can you tell us what weight bridle leather that is? Is it all the same weight? Did you have W&C skive it for you?

It's 5-6oz W&C bridle. I have them split it for me when I buy it. I also have them stake the leather which softens it a little without breaking up the grain pattern too much. It's still fairly stiff though.
