I just went through some older needles of my Adler 4 and found a monster. Its a 328 system needle made by Leo Lammertz. The lower part is even thicker than the part that goes into the needle bar. The thickest part is 3mm !!!

It´s marked with a size11 but size 11 is neither a metric nor a US size, right?

Possibly a number 28 or 30 needle. My largest needle is a #27, which I use to pre-punch evenly spaced holes for small rivets, to be set along the outer edges of some Bling belts.

ha - good idea :)

I just found this needle chart, so it seems to be a 28.

I have a box of size 31's for my Singer 7. I use one for a center punch. :) Regards, Eric
