I took some spare strap leather I had, and put a full impression of every stamp I had on it, and wrote the number on it in marker next to the stamp. Now when I go to the "toy store", I have all the stamps I own right there with me. I can check sizes by poking the new stamps into the impressions, or can make sure not to get duplicates.

I have since had to rivet another strap to the first one, and am going to make notebook pages from leather, to match the Tandy catalog pages.

That way it will be more easy to keep in a sensible order, rather than random as I get new tools.

It is quite amazing how much the same number tool will differ from another one, and this is a way to keep track of that.

I have some space on my right underarm left (that sounds strange) so I was thinking it'd be cool to tattoo them all ;)

Well having a strip may be simpler after all.

Good idea!

That's why I love my electronic toys. I can just write the stamp numbers in a memo and have it every time I go to order something (there's no "toy store" anywhere near me unfortunately). That would be cool though to have a leather notebook like that. Would be handy to have when you're planning a stamping pattern too so you can have an expample of the finished product in front of you.
