AndyL1 Report post Posted November 15, 2013 I generally use 5/6 or thicker for my front panels and flaps. 4/5 for the gusset and back pocket panel. I use different weights so the edges of the bag don't get too thick and it's loads easier to form and sew the bottom corners with a lighter gusset.
