I you don't get any or few replies to a postshould you repost or bump the post after 4-5 days?

I have on occasion posted in what I thought was an approptriate forum heading and recieved no response then re evaluated the forum topics and posted under a different heading and had luck getting an answer. As far as I know there is no rule against it the effectivness is debatable. As I said it has worked for me.

Well...whenever I see people post the same question multiple times in various sections, I go out of my way to avoid them. Causes too much clutter when trying to find actual, real new posts...

It's also widely considered very poor forum etiquette to do that.
