Members Fd3615 Posted January 14, 2014 Members Report Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) So today I worked on a notebook I have been putting off as I didn't feel like stitching it. I received my Cobra 4 yesterday and after messing around with it a little I thought id give it a go on a real project. This is a notepad I made for myself. What do you think? I think the stitching turned out pretty good for my first run at it. PS I rushed the tooling as I really wanted to sew the thing. Edited January 14, 2014 by Fd3615 Quote
Members craftsman827 Posted January 16, 2014 Members Report Posted January 16, 2014 Very Nice !! What made you buy the cobra ?? I'm thinking of investing in a sewing machine. Quote
Members Leatherbaron Posted January 18, 2014 Members Report Posted January 18, 2014 Problem is once you start sewing with the machine your going to start sewing every damn thing just like me.... I enjoy sewing so much I hardly do any lacing anymore heh heh Quote
Members Fd3615 Posted January 23, 2014 Author Members Report Posted January 23, 2014 I love the machine. What made me buy it? Tired of saddle stitching.. lol.. I have never done much lacing, but do a ton of saddle stitches. Also I have customers that want decorative stitching on rifle slings and suspenders.. So it was a no brainer. Quote
Members MDH Leatherworks Posted March 17, 2014 Members Report Posted March 17, 2014 Looks great! I like your makers stamp on the back of your notebook cover. I'll looking to get a new makers stamp - where did you get your made? Quote
