bylinesupplyco Report post Posted February 18, 2014 I just ordered some Horween leather, and Im very excited to use it. One of the first projects I want to do with it is making a slim billfold similar to the one below. Does ANYONE have a printable template for something like this? Ive been looking everywhere and can't seem to find a printable one! camano ridge Report post Posted February 18, 2014 (edited) The measurements are given It is a rectangle. You suold be able to draw a rectangle using the measurements given (the length is the folded length so x2). You can enlarge the picture of an open wallet to the actual height. You should then be able to get measurments and draw the inside pieces. I don't mean to take anything away from anyone that is willing to make something, but $140.00 for that? JLSleather Report post Posted February 18, 2014 The "old" billfolds - the ones you see in the tooling 'manuals' - were 9 1/4" x 3 3/8", which folds to about 4.5" wide. Updating that, simple enough to make a paper pattern (I like about 50lb bristol) to whatever size you like. Assuming the wallet in that picture is about this size, then using Horween leather you're looking at a whopping $10 worth of materials there.
