Members lrb Posted March 2, 2014 Members Report Posted March 2, 2014 How do you stitch a plug in? A separate process, or do you just continue the thread on from the holsters edge? Here is one I did a couple of years back. I just somehow made it work, but don't remember how I did it, and doubt that I did it right. Quote
Frank Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 Go visit Will's page. He does a great job of explaining it. http://www.willghormley-maker.com/MakingHOGRig.html Quote
Members lrb Posted March 3, 2014 Author Members Report Posted March 3, 2014 Thanks much Frank. That's what I needed, unless someone has a different method. Quote
Members Dwight Posted March 3, 2014 Members Report Posted March 3, 2014 (edited) Sewing in toe plugs is sorta like changing a flat tire on the freeway, Friday night, in the middle of a rain storm. There ain't no real easy way to do either one, . . . you just do it. Will's way will definitely work, . . . and yours looks reallygood to me. And, . . . when you stand back 36 inches or so, . . . who is going to know how you did it? May God bless, Dwight Edited March 3, 2014 by Dwight Quote
Frank Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 The only thing I do different is use a double layer plug glued together and then glue it in place. I hate fighting with them when stitching so gluing saves on the mental anguish part. Quote
