sinpac Report post Posted March 9, 2014 The only thing that had to be substituted the fastener. The original would have been a U.S. Army embossed snap. I could not find any of those so I used a vintage lift-the-dot military snap.
Dwight Report post Posted March 9, 2014 I am certainly no expert in what is or is not period authentic and all that, . . . But your rendition of a double mag pouch is really good lookin. I like the mold you used too, . . . am I correct that it may have been a cutting board at one time? May God bless, Dwight

Dwight Report post Posted March 9, 2014 I have a sheet that is 4' X6' 1/2" thick that I found in a dumpster on a construction site I am working on. Well, . . . it ain't a gold mine, . . . but it sure is a blessing. I needed a piece for my work table several years ago, . . . it was only 36 x 48 and about 5/16 thick, . . . the guy gave me a "break" at $40. Good find, . . . May God bless, Dwight
