Members austinb Posted March 19, 2014 Members Report Posted March 19, 2014 I came across this today, in the forum here. In making bi-fold wallets, it seems that the bottom of the wallet is not stitched to allow for folding. I am wondering if someone was working off a template, are the two pieces different sizes? see an example below that shows the bottom bowing out more. Quote

Members Ryan Barto Posted March 22, 2014 Members Report Posted March 22, 2014 (edited) In the wallet you have pictured, the outer shell is a bit longer than the inside. You are correct in this allowing for folding. I make my bifold wallets the same way. Edited March 22, 2014 by Ryan Barto Quote
Members Chavez Posted April 1, 2014 Members Report Posted April 1, 2014 I make my wallets the same way (bottom not stitched). The outer is slightly longer than the inner. I can try & find out some measurements for you, but extra 20mm should do for a 6-card bifold. Quote
