I have a landis 1 for sale that was reconditioned by the previous owner, it comes with a new shuttle, a bobbin winder that needs a handle and has been welded but with a little tlc it will work, there also extra bobbins, old feet , and misalliance old parts (see photos). I also have two old shuttles I forgot to put in the photos. The machine is in great working order and sews well and the paint is in good condition that is why I am asking 1650.00 obo, I am located in Lakeview Oregon and may be able to meet someone part way if it's not to far away.

Thank you Mariopost-42726-0-27198300-1395683961_thumb.jpost-42726-0-91059100-1395684206_thumb.jpost-42726-0-48182000-1395684365_thumb.j

I was wondering if you have sold your machine yet. If not I was wondering if you might be willing to sale some of the spare parts. I have two Landis #1. one is complete and the other is missing a few things and I would be interested in purchasing parts if that is somthing you would consider.

Tmwp43,

I have not sold the 1 yet , I don't know if I have any parts that are reusable or not so give me a call at 530-260-0770 and we can see if I have what you need.

I have sold the spare parts except for the bobbin winder and the bobbins so I am lowering the price to 1350.

Thanks Mario

God I wish you lived near NJ I'd buy it in a minute, I guess shipping would be outrageous . Gary

Hi Gary,

I'm not real sure how much the machine weighs but I would guess around 500 pounds , don't know if it would be worth shipping and you may be able to find closer to you, thank you though for the enthusiasm.

I have somewhat of a love affair with the old Landis 1's. It was the first machine I bought that I could actually sew something on, after having bought a couple other junker machines not made to sew leather. I used one exclusively for at least 15 years and still use one some today. I have 3 of them and don't really care to sell any one of them. Anyone starting out who is looking for a good machine at a reasonable price should look no further. This machine appears to sew tight and consistently. While it is limited somewhat by it's design, (all machines are) and not quite as user friendly as the brand new machines, these are trouble free, reliable machines that I guarantee will outlast anything new being made today. The price is very reasonable. While we have all seen Landis 1's sell for less, this one is ready to go, not all worn out, and the bobbin winder comes with it. These machines sold for $1000 twenty years ago. A great deal!!
