Members bobocat Posted October 14, 2008 Members Report Posted October 14, 2008 Hello Everyone, I just made a flying dragon in a myth. I left specically some cutting lines unfinished. let it has a feeling of space.
Members BradB Posted October 14, 2008 Members Report Posted October 14, 2008 That is SO Awesome!!! My son would love that, he is a dragon freak.. That is probably the best dragon I have ever seen done in leather!!! Where did you get the artwork for it, did you draw it yourself?
Colman Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Very nice work! The unfinished cuts give it the illusion of coming out of the leather. Johnny
Moderator Johanna Posted October 14, 2008 Moderator Report Posted October 14, 2008 Bobocat- thank you for sharing your work. It is quite unlike the styles we see here in the US, and we admire the quality of your art. I also wanted to thank you for referring some of your friends/colleagues to here- tell them not to be shy, just jump in and post. We enjoy learning from you, and would like to see your friends' pics, too. Johanna
Members calanneh Posted October 14, 2008 Members Report Posted October 14, 2008 That looks wonderful Bobcat!!!!
TomSwede Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 I really appreciate to see your carvings in the "nude" because so much can be learned from it. Once you show a finished piece... one is just blown away and it is harder to catch the most important part. The swivelknife work. Do you usually carve with a straight blade? Thanks for sharing, it is wonderful to watch your work! Tom
